Today I was just browsing through the net to find interesting things about interior designing and I came across this wonderful website http://www.interiordezine.com/. This offers a great deal of information on Interior designing and also offers a free ecourse. All you have to do is sign up and request for one and they send you tutorials for the next 2 weeks.They also have a lot of other stuff which helps you during the course.

house tour, Devjani Cox

Hi folks,

sorry for not posting for some time now but you see being a mom is not an easy task. So today I would like to show you the house of dubai based interior designer Devjani cox.

She has got the mmost wonderfull home and what is more special is that she has tried to keep every thing as simple but still so good.

The entrance area has a display of quirky political South Indian posters which were acquired from a corner shop in Chennai.

Dark wood floors were used in the living room with Edelman suede sofas. A triptych made by Devjani and cartoonist Hadi Farahani presides over the space.

Another corner of the living area showcases more art and crafts, housing a chaise longue by Aati.

"I do not like over-precious interiors; furniture and objects, however expensive, are to be used, not to be watched over," says Devjani.

 

In the master bedroom, two large canvases by Dubai-based painter Seemita Roy are showcased over a bed by Aati.

 

Dont you wish you were here.

 Isn't this a wonderufl house. I love homes with big gardens, you can do so much there.

Since I am a housewife I love my kitchen and that is the place I create all the delicacies for my family. As I was browsing through dornob I came across this wonderful kitchen, futuristic, modern and minimalistic




I personally would like some more colour in my kitchen but this design, I seem to like.

Turkish Interiors

hi there,

Today lets go to the Home of Turkish Fashion Designer Rifat Ozbek. It lies in one of the most romantic spots on Turkey’s Bodrum peninsula. Their house is situated in the village of Yalikavak which is surrounded by rugged hills that overlook the Aegean Sea. I love the rugged look of the walls and also the outdoor dining area. The french windows help connect with the lovely exteriors.

And don't you think the study is just wonderful.
